Allotments are pre-booked options (pre-bookings) for one partner. By means of allotments, it is possible to book a part of the accommodation capacity at certain dates that will not be offered for sale. The partner must show interest in the allotment by the specified date so that it is not canceled. Of course, everything depends on your agreement. You can set allocations in Reception/Partners, by clicking on a specific partner and the allotment tab. The list shows the allotments created for that partner. For each individual allotment, there is a detail of the type of room to which it is assigned, the number of these rooms, the date of the allotment is active and the date by which the allotment must be converted into a reservation. Allotment, serves to reduce availability towards "out" until sale. If you wish, you can place a normal reservation in the allocated rooms.
To create an allotment, click the "New Allotment" button on the bottom right. Make sure you are allocating the right partner. As the date from / to select the date when the availability of allocated rooms will decrease. The Amount box is the amount of rooms of the type of room to which the allocations will apply. Allotments will begin to be phased out according to the number of days you select before the allocation date. (example: for the allocation of 25-27.10 and the selected number of days "3" on 23.10., the allocation for 25.10. is canceled and the allocation is therefore only two days). The expiration date alerts you on the selected day when you log into the Siesta Extranet, with an expired options and allocations window. Select the type of room to which the allocations will apply, and if you have a longer period of recurring allocations, you can only assign allocations for specific days. You can create an individual price list for the created allocation. It is set in the same way as setting the price list for the partner, which will be described in the next paragraph.
If you hold the cursor over the allocation (parenthesis after availability) in the PriceGrid for a while, you will see the allotment detail. Partner, duration of allotment and number of allocated rooms (first number in parentheses) and number of reservations of partner using the allocation on the given day (second number in parentheses). In the Allotments tab, in Management/Sales you will find a list of all allocations.
In the Price List tab on the partner detail you can set individual prices for the partner different from the prices in the Price Table. Click on, add partner price to get to the individual price list window. The principle of data entry is identical to the price list at the allotment, but this is valid for each partner reservation, not only in the allocated period.
You can assign a price list to a specific room type. In Change type, you can set how the room amount should be changed. +/- changes the price shown in the PriceGrid, Change = sets a brand new price. Select a date to set the price list duration. In the table on the right you can adjust the room price according to the number of guests. Do not forget to save prices for people and the whole price list separately using the floppy disk icon.
